Maurice D. Hayes
Chairman
A chartered accountant by profession, Maurice has spent more than 40 years in public practice. Maurice entered the hospitality industry by purchasing a hotel in 1971 and later built the Whitehouse Tavern in Papakura in 1984. He continues to combine ownership of this establishment with his accountancy business. A Life Member of the Hospitality Association of New Zealand (HANZ), Maurice has served on its National Executive for 18 years and been National Treasurer for 16 years.
